Lead mechanical design and new product development for power distribution products, including complex assemblies and detailed drawings.
Create and manage BOMs, optimize designs for manufacturability, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Coordinate testing programs with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to validate performance and safety.
Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chains.
Ensure designs comply with ANSI/ASME/NEC/UL standards and applicable industry codes.
Requirements: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in switchgear or switchboard design; advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks; strong analytical, communication, and project management skills; US work authorization.
