Assistant Estimator – Anywhere

An Assistant Estimator or Estimator in civil engineering is responsible for managing the commercial aspects of tenders, including preparing and evaluating bids, liaising with supply chains, and reviewing project risks and opportunities. The role involves supporting the tender process from receipt through to submission, organising Bills of Quantities, and participating in meetings and site visits for feedback. Candidates need experience in civil, highways, or rail sectors with a background in main contracting, along with good communication skills and relevant industry qualifications. They will work in a team environment, supporting projects with values from £2m to £30m across multiple sectors.
