This role focuses on incorporating neural networks into the planning stack to improve autonomous decision-making in real-time.
You will evaluate how learned inputs influence planner performance through both simulation and on-road testing.
Architect fallback, hybrid, and arbitration strategies to maintain safety when models are uncertain or degraded.
Contribute to the broader planning system by designing new planning behaviors, search strategies, and architectural optimizations.
Write high-quality C++ code that meets real-time constraints for safety-critical deployment, and participate in design reviews.
Collaborate across ML, perception, and systems teams, communicating clearly to align on requirements and trade-offs.
