The role involves end-to-end responsibility for defining and building external data assets, including schema design, documentation, and governance, within a dynamic team environment. It requires translating customer signals into qualified data products and ensuring operational stability through collaboration with engineering teams. The candidate will handle data modelling, aggregation, and quality, primarily using tools like SQL and dbt, while working closely with multiple stakeholders. They will also develop prototypes and optimise raw datasets, such as clickstream data, to support commercial and operational use cases. Additionally, the role entails establishing standards and feedback loops for product development and lifecycle management, promoting data governance and productisation best practices. Experience in external data sharing, automotive, or marketplace data is considered advantageous.
