Senior Cloud Engineer 1 Platform SRE

CreateFuture seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to establish robust SRE practices for their AI platform programme, managing Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools. The role involves designing and operating AI workloads on Kubernetes using Terraform and GitOps methodologies, and developing deployment pipelines suited for non-deterministic AI systems. The engineer will establish SLOs, SLAs, incident response, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure platform reliability and compliance with strict data privacy and security standards. Responsibilities include embedding cost estimation and resource optimisation into workflows, implementing security best practices, and producing operational documentation for handover. The position requires expertise in platform engineering, DevOps, and AI operations, with experience in high-traffic, regulated sectors and technical proficiency in tools like Terraform, Python, and observability platforms.
