Oversee daily transportation operations and design safe, efficient bus routes and field trips for the district's student transportation program.
Direct supervision of route coordinators, dispatchers, bus drivers, and bus monitors with coaching, feedback, and performance remediation.
Develop and administer training programs; assess professional development needs and ensure effective implementation of standards.
Respond to service disruptions such as reroutes and accidents, coordinate resolutions, and assist with accident reporting and safety investigations.
Manage technology programs (bus cameras, Wi-Fi, and card readers) and ensure regulatory compliance and accurate recordkeeping.
Collaborate with drivers, school staff, and families to address concerns; conduct driver evaluations and maintain compliance with district goals.
