A senior DevOps engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting cloud infrastructure, automating development and release pipelines, and implementing monitoring systems. They will work with technologies such as Azure, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, PowerShell, and Python, managing infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform. The role requires designing, deploying, and optimising cloud solutions, along with enforcing security and compliance measures within Azure. Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience in Agile environments and stakeholder management. Familiarity with CMS frameworks like WordPress and Umbraco, and cloud security principles, is desirable.
